Our Veterinarians are Saying...

C.M. graduated in 2018 and spent her career at the same rural Iowa practice alongside her father. By last summer she had hit the wall. Long days, emergency weekends, and the mounting weight of trying to improve a practice she did not yet have the authority to fully change.

She found Veterinary Practice Rising on TikTok.

"Last summer I was feeling major burn-out. The long days, emergencies and weekends were getting to me and I was really thinking I just can't provide this level of care much longer. I came across your TikTok account and couldn't believe how much I could relate to your experiences. This gave me a little glimmer of hope. This year I am finally officially getting to put my foot into ownership."

Today, C.M. is stepping into ownership. Two new graduate veterinarians are joining her practice this summer, both committed to staying and supporting rural medicine. She is expecting her first baby in June 2026. She wrote to say she believes she found Veterinary Practice Rising for a reason.

That is the point of this work.
